The Toronto Blue Jays became a force in the American League during the mid-80's. Those teams had star-studded lineups that features Tony Fernandez, Jesse Barfield, George Bell and Fred McGriff. They had some great pitchers as well like Dave Stieb and Jimmy Key. In 1992 the Jays won their first championship, and they went back-to-back in 1993. Those teams had their share of great players as well: Paul Molitor, Devon White, Roberto Alomar, Joe Carter, Dave Winfield, Dave Stewart, Rickey Henderson. Needless to say they were loaded with talent. In 1997 the Blue Jays signed Roger Clemens who had arguably the best season's ever leading the AL in wins, strikeouts and ERA.
